Get Dressed: Maxi, Midi & Mini

Hello ladies,

With the new restrictions allowing a maximum of 2 people to dine out here in Singapore, we want to help you to dress your best. From maxi to mini, and a midi in-between, here’s everything you need to know about choosing a dress length to suit you.

Maxi dresses are extremely versatile because you can dress them up or down depending on your mood and the occasion that you are going for. Best of all, one does not need to spend too much time in the morning getting dressed! Most maxi dresses look great with any accessories that you may toss on so you won’t have to worry about them clashing.

We also love maxi numbers for that extra swish factor that makes us feel extra dressed up with minimal efforts needed to get dressed.

1. Maxi Dresses

Our Kelson Maxi Dress will be your favourite go-to maxi dress because it features gorgeous paperbag details and is suitable for expectant mums as well.

That extra side slit is a fine detail to have that lets you show off some skin without going over the top.
Pair it with your favourite slides or opt for heels if you would like to wear this for a date night out.
If you would like to accentuate your figure, opt for the waist sash and you are all good to go!

Available in Black, Khaki & White

If you are looking for a statement everyday dress with sleeves, look no further because this Sunday (27/6), we’ll be launching our Kayleen Ruched Maxi Dress that comes in three shades for you to choose from. It features tiered hems with beautiful smocked details to elevate your look and mood.

A classic piece that promises effortless style; we have this in a timeless White, Melon and Ash Lilac.
For mummies-to-be, the ruched details will let you flaunt that bump just the way you like it! ;)

2. Midi Dresses

Through rain or shine, dinner dates, important work meetings and snoozed alarms, midi dresses will always be there for us. Comfy, classy and totally versatile. For those of us who are sick to death of our loungewear but not quite ready to embrace waistbands, a midi is the perfect middle ground. A surefire way to look put-together, even when you’ve been working from bed all morning.

There’s no surprise why our Kaylee Two Way Midi Dress is one of the crowd’s favourite. It’s simply irresistible and comes in a wide range of shades (Black, Daffodil, Maple, Navy, Pink & Pistachio) for you to choose from. It also features two necklines for you to switch up depending on your mood for the day.

P/S: For nursing mums, this one’s suitable for you to look and feel your best without compromising on comfort. The V-neckline side comes with a concealed zip which was a little thought we inserted in this design, just for you! ;)

Checkered print for summer and beyond? Groundbreaking. Our upcoming Adorelle Checkered Midi Dress that will be launched on Sunday (27/6) will be one you wouldn’t want to miss. While certain print trends fade as fast as you can get your hands on them, this certainly isn't the case with the checkered print. It's clean and classic that will withstand the trends of time.

We have this dress available in a yummy Apple Green shade as well. Did someone say summer-worthy already?
If you are hitting the beaches, we suggest you go for a straw hat, weaved bag and your favourite sunnies to complete the look.

Midi dresses often draws the attention to your calves area and you can use that to your advantage!
Play up your proportions by opting for heels instead of your usual sliders. If you value comfort, we recommend going for block heels. Comfy and it achieves that extra height that you are looking for!

3. Mini Dresses

The mini dress just oozes minimalist charm and cuteness. They’re the perfect option if you want to elongate your legs to make you appear taller. This length is best suited for more casual or social functions but if you ever feel like wearing it to a cocktail party, we’ll say each to their own. You do you, ladies!

Look for a standout piece like our Lola Babydoll Dress. It’s an easy dress to throw on and look absolutely adorable and put together. What’s great about this dress is that it’s breezy and swingy so it’ll help to keep you cool for Singapore's weather.

Style Tip: If the babydoll style is a tad bit too girly for you, try pairing it with a pair of chunky or rugged shoes to give it an interesting look!

The Lauryn Shirt Dress is an undefeated classic that’ll take you to places. After a few months of getting used to working from home, our Lauryn Shirt Dress is delivering some welcome outdoorsy inspiration with its cheery floral print design.

At the end of the day, all of these dresses are ideal to throw on when you’re in need of an outfit that feels decisive, and one that makes you feel confident but takes next to no effort.
